Dr. Tim and his staff create a welcoming environment where patients can feel comfortable in expressing their concerns and goals. Dr. Tim utilizes his extensive training and experience to ensure his patients the best results possible, regardless of the procedure. You can feel confident knowing that your entire breast reduction process, from consultation to an express recovery, will be paced to match your individual needs.
Dr. Tim utilizes the most advanced technology and techniques to provide optimal breast reduction results. Excess fat, breast tissue and skin are removed through ‘inverted-T’ or ‘vertical scar’ incisions, which encircle the areola, descend down the underside of the breast, then underscore the breast in the breast crease. The remaining breast tissue is lifted and remodelled to form breasts that smaller, firmer, and rounder.
In some cases, Dr. Tim will use the existing incisions to reduce the size of the areola (the dark skin surrounding the nipple). The nipple and areola are moved to a higher position on the breast to create a more balanced and youthful appearance. The incisions are then closed using sutures within the breast tissue for support, and skin adhesives to close the skin.
Results for breast reduction are immediate, and Dr. Tim’s comprehensive pain management program makes the recovery process as easy as possible. Although scarring from the incisions is impossible to avoid altogether, Dr. Tim minimises the appearance of scars through surgical techniques and follow-up care.
Many women combine their breast reduction with other procedures, such as liposuction or a tummy tuck, for seamless results from head to toe. Dr. Tim uses his experience to help women find the right procedure or combination of procedures to match their cosmetic goals.
